A big win for trainer Chris Lang

Trotting trainer and Equissage client Chris Lang had 2 starters in yesterday's Coolamon's Trotters Day, and took out the $25,000 mares only group 3 race, a fantastic achievement as this is the richest mares only trotting race in Australasia.

Chris is a great fan of Equissage he works 25 horses daily, owns four Equissage sets, and every horse gets treated every day of the week.

Some more fantastic results from Equissage clients from South Australia a the recent 2012 Grand National Show results include:

Rivah Dudly Went top ten in the Grand National Show Hunter Galloway over 14.2 n/e 15hh riding Wesswood in Vogue, Riva was also awarded Smartest on Parade in this class.

Madeline Pagan won Champion Grand National Show Hunter Pony over 12.2hh n/e 14hh on Kolbeach Jack in the Box, Madeline was also Top Ten For Grand National Junior Rider under 12 years.

Micheal Higginbottom and Mentmore Alabama went top 10 for Grand National Saddle Horse over 16hh as well as Top Ten for Grand National rider 30 years and over.

Sophie Whitworth and her pony Sunny had some fantastic results recently at the HAMAG Australian Young rider Championships

Medium 4c 1^st, Medium 4b 3rd 2nd Medium freestyle to award her Medium Reserve Champion
Advanced 5b 5^th , 5c 4^th and 2nd in the Advanced freestyle

Natalie Blundell makes her bid for an Olympic berth

Equissage client Natalie Blundell and her mount Algebra, are full steam ahead in making their bid for a berth in this year’s Olympic team. Assisting the Australian team to win the Kihikihi International Horse Trial CIC***NZ teams competition with an Individual third place, Natalie is making sure that she is being noticed.

Shane Rose has a dream run.

Shane Rose lead the Kihikihi horse trials from start to finish on Taurus, adding just 6.2 penalties to his dressage score to complete on 53.8 his fantastic result meant that the Aussie team that also included Equissage Client Natalie Blundell who placed 3rd on her fantastic horse Algebra,  finally won the Trans-Tasman event on Kiwi soil.

Shane did not have much time to sit on his laurels and enjoy the win, Shane jetted straight home to ride his six year old gelding Virgil in the Exhibition eventing competition at Sydney Royal Easter Show. The pair galloped to victory leading the class after Dressage and after a near faultless round in the Jumping phase secured his position at the top of the leader board.
